Ironically, to hear the pundits on CNN or MSNBC, they call what we have now "grid lock".

So the memo got released:

http://apps.washingtonpost.com/g/documents/national/read-the-gop-memo/2746/

So the FBI lied to the judge because a political party told them they needed wire taps on Trump.  I can't say I'm surprised.

LOL, so Sessions is defending Rosenstein, and Gowdy is saying he remains 100% confident in the Special Counsel, and the contents of the memo do not in any way discredit the investigation.

I guess Sessions and Gowdy just both became RINO's.

I love this quote from an article on how badly Trump has hijacked the GOP.

“They are literally burning down the FBI to save this guy. They are literally burning down the Justice Department to save this guy. This is a remarkable moment,” said Wilson, an early and fierce critic of Trump. “If Barack Obama had done anything remotely like this, Republicans would be rioting in the street with pitchforks and torches.”

He added that if Obama or either Bill or Hillary Clinton had steered party money into their own pockets, the RNC would have been attacking that day in and day out for weeks, if not months.

“The double standard is ridiculous,” Wilson said. “If Bill Clinton had been using the DNC for funding his legal defense in the Monica Lewinsky scandal? The world would have exploded.”

“They will violate their own moral consciences to unequivocally support him,” said Unruh, who attended eight GOP conventions as a delegate before being forced out of the local Colorado party after Trump’s election. “They have lost the high road. They had it, and they lost it. I hope it was worth selling their souls.”

Manny... please.

Read this, and ask yourself that if Hillary and the Democrats had been in charge, if it wouldn't be just as bad or worse:

They are actually pissy that this passed Congress, as opposed to the usual route of highly illegal leaks that they're used to doing themselves.

If Hilary had won and this exact thing was going on sure I'd expect the reaction to be the same.  I guess we'll never know what would have happened if Hilary had won.  What we know is this is happening now and it's pretty fucked up.

That Hill article pretty much seems just to say "Wow all of a sudden the Democrats are the supportive of the FBI party" with a snarky tone of "please, give me a break."  That is a surprising development considering the GOP has traditionally been more supportive of the justice system, but considering the actions of the current administration I don't see how it's anything but true.
