Was it a faux pas that Brady didn’t shake Foles’ hand?
« on: February 07, 2018, 04:53:01 PM »
Should the losing qb feel obligated to shake the other’s hand? Or can you not blame them for trying to dodge him and/or media?

I mean, coaches shake hands. Should QBs? Or are they just like every other player?

Is the hand shake something he's dodged before after SB losses?

Hard to say, there have been so many Brady Super Bowl LOSSES.

I think it's shitty AF.  I'm embarrassed as a fan at how this last week went down.  Not to lose a shootout Superbowl, a day later you're over that.*  But the cloud around the Butler benching, the pouty non-shake, the Josh McDaniels fuckery, the weird "Gronk is going to retire and go into action movies"...It's certainly not the way I wanted the end of the dynasty to begin.

I'll definitely say 5-3 is a lot different than 6-2.

I heard when he wins, he waits, and when he loses, it’s a toss up.

But I honestly dunno how true that is.

He did shake Cox’s hand, but that might be due to his love for cox

As I said before, maybe Brady had such a problem with his right hand, he didn't want to hurt it anymore. If you noticed on his "missed catch ", his right hand wasn't fully extended, the ball just floated over top of his finger tips. I believe the stitched area was bothering him and especially after the sacks and  fumble. I think there was more pain than let on from the second half beating.

With that said, he was reluctant to meet ELI at the end of the game. Maybe he was a little pissy but an injury can work on you and couple with a loss?, I don't blame him but he should have reached out to Foles another way to congratulate him

Bullshit. He just played a full game. He just tossed a bomb at the end. He can shake a hand.

It's definitely not a good look for such a franchise. Especially this latest McDaniels fiasco. That is such a shit storm that even his agent bailed on him.

Kind of a bitch move by Brady, in my opinion.

I don't understand the need for it.  Coaches should, I guess, if they've played a good, honest game.

I think the post game handshake is overrated and people put too much emphasis on it, especially when it's not done by someone they personally dislike, but it is expected etiquette in sports win or lose, players know better and should act accordingly.

Not at all.  Quarterbacks don't face each other on the field.  But coaches do.

It's not hard for coaches, who do scheme and plan games against each other to shake hands for a game well-played.  Well, except for that asshole Jim Harbaugh a few years ago.

100% proof Tom is an atheist.  He ain't gonna shake hands with some pastor wannabe.
